hand embellished
Each piece begins as a digital print on museum-quality poly-cotton canvas. After the art is printed, the piece is then expertly hand-embellished by one of five artists.
Using either a palette knife or brush (depending on the artwork), they apply a proprietary watercolor-meets-acrylic material (similar to gel medium) to the printed canvas. This material adds a semi-translucent depth and added interest to the piece that makes it feel like you are experiencing an original work of art – because you are! This final layer adds texture and dimension and enhances key areas of the artwork while maintaining the integrity of the original image.
The result is a reproduction-meets-original: a unique piece with tactile depth and subtle variations that make every canvas feel one-of-a-kind.
